The backing tracks on this album have seen serious improvement since Hatchie's debut, and the tracks have more variety. I'm not sure if there's been much improvement on the vocals, but overall this is a better (and longer!) showing from this artist.

I first heard Totally Mild when I was staying at an Airbnb in Melbourne, and ever since I've been hooked. To me, their music has the perfect combination of elements required to be great indie music: smart lyrics, interesting little musical moments, a certain rawness, all without losing sight of making catchy, enjoyable music. This is the type of music that worms its way under your skin until you're humming it all the time.
